Why “College Slam”?
During my last project NBA Jam TE - SRAM, suggested by SpkLeader, I worked on converting the game’s save system from EEPROM to SRAM, allowing it to run on flash carts that don’t support EEPROM. SpkLeader pointed out that once the process was figured out, it could be applied to other Acclaim titles with minimal effort. This project is the result of that idea.
Now, even more players can enjoy the game with full saving functionality!
Hack features:
- Region lock disabled.
- SEGA logo palette fix, corrects the logo outline from light blue to white.
- Save system conversion from EEPROM to SRAM, allowing for lower-tier flash carts to save the game.
