Text Adventure Reader
The Wii Text Adventure Reader is a port of my original
PC-based text adventure game, tailored for the Nintendo Wii.
Built in C++, the engine reads directly from a
customizable .txt file, making it easy for players to create
their own unique story paths and options.
Published on the Wii Open Shop Channel,
it stands as a fully customizable text adventure experience for Wii enthusiasts.
Designed to power side-scrolling games
Built from scratch in C++ with SDL libraries and using
the Tiled editor as an intuitive interface for creating objects
and levels.
The demo "Nani's Shooter" was created to showcase the engine's capabilities.
This project demonstrates a robust foundation for 2D game creation,
with a focus on flexibility and efficiency in asset and level management.
A Journey in Game Development
My journey is grounded in a diverse array of experiences across technology. I started with electronics, gaining a solid understanding of hardware and troubleshooting. To create engaging experiences, I expanded my skills to include 3D modeling and image editing, allowing me to visualize my ideas. Additionally, I have picked up experience in web development, IT support, and network maintenance along the way.
With programming as my primary focus, I’ve used languages such as 68K ASM, C, C++, C#, Java, and Python in my projects. This varied background makes me a well-rounded developer. My ability to integrate hardware knowledge with programming and design gives me a holistic understanding of all the components that make a game. I am passionate about using my skills to build innovative projects that inspire creativity.
